AI disclosure
We use AI tools to help make our books, and we think you should know exactly how.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
- The illustrations in our books are created with AI image-generation tools. We direct them, choose what is used, clean it up and build it into books.
- Our promotional videos are animated from the books’ own pages with code. They use no AI-generated footage, voices or music.
Where AI is used
- Illustrations. The line art on the pages, the cover artwork, and the colored example pages we show are generated with AI image tools, from prompts and art direction that we write.
- Written copy. Some descriptions, captions and website text are drafted with AI writing assistants, then edited by us.
- This website. The site’s code was built with the help of an AI coding assistant, and we review the result.
What we do ourselves
- Direction. We decide each book’s theme, the scenes on every page, the style and the number of pages.
- Selection. We review every image and reject the ones with mistakes, odd details or lines that wouldn’t color well.
- Clean-up. Approved images are converted into clean vector line art and numbered.
- Design. We lay out each book, write its text, design the covers and add the test pages.
- Printing. Books are printed on demand and shipped by Amazon.
Where AI is not used
- Our promotional videos are assembled from the finished book pages with animation code. They contain no AI-generated footage, voices or music.
- We don’t present AI-assisted artwork as hand-drawn.
Telling the platforms
Amazon KDP asks publishers to disclose AI-generated content. We answer that question truthfully for each book we publish.
